Using embedded fonts

If you chose to embed the font in the dynamic textfield, you must ensure that each style of every font that is used is embedded into the swf file. For example, if you are using the rssReader and you embedded the base font in the dynamic textfield and you have defined the bold version of the same font for the "Title font", you must embed the bold version of this font in a separate dynamic textfield.

This is how you would do this:

1. Create a new dynamic textfield on an area off stage (so that it is not visible).

2. Select the font for this textfield and choose to embed the required characters.

3. Press the bold (“B”) button to embed the bold version of this font or italic ("i") to embed the italic version.

If you are using the rssReader-FT with the flashTicker/FX and you chose to use embedded fonts in the flashTicker, you must follow the steps above to embed all the styles of every font that you are using for this.
