This flashTooltip allows you to use images in your tool tips as well as text. This tutorial will explain how. We recommend completing the Basic Tutorial before this one to ensure you have a good understanding of how to use the component.
1. Using an image editing application such as Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks create an image that you wish to use as an image in your tool tip. Save it as a non-progressive jpg. For the purposes of this tutorial you should name it 'myImage.jpg' (without the quotes) (Note: If you don't have a separate image editing application it is possible to save images from Flash).
2. In Flash, open the file that you created following the Basic Tutorial and select the flashTooltip component on the stage.
3. With the component still selected press Alt+F7 to open the component inspector panel.
Press Ctrl+S (Windows) or Cmnd+S (Mac) to save your file and Ctrl+Enter (Windows) or Cmnd+Enter (Mac) to test it. Rollover the button on your stage and you'll see your tool tip now includes the image you specified.
