Adding content to your database

Once you've built your Flash file follow these steps to begin using the system.

To add a news item to your database access your file in your browser and click 'news' button (this will move the swf's timeline to frame 10).

Slowly type the access keyword (admin) and the login panel will appear. Enter the username and password you specified when installing your back-end and click 'Submit'.

Your textfields will be highlighted by blue lines. Click on one of the fields and in the fCMSPro control bar click the 'Create New Document' icon.

Click on the top field and enter a title for your news item. Next, click on the bottom text field and enter the details of your news item.

Click the small floppy disk icon on the control bar to save the details to your database. Once the fCMSPro tells you the "Content was saved successfully!" click OK.

Repeat the process to add more news items to your database. Once finished, click the 'Close' button and press the index button to return to the index of news items.
