Getting Started
All of the banner adverts are inserted and managed using the administration control panel.
1. Access the administration control panel by entering the URL of the banner_admin folder that is on your webserver.
For example:
http://www.yourdomain.com/banner_admin/
This should bring you to the login screen.

2. Enter the admin username and password that you specified in the
config.php file and press "Login". This will bring you to the administraion control panel.
This is an explanation of each menu option in the control panel:
| Categories | Options | Description |
| Banner Ad Group | A banner ad group contains a collection of banner advertisements. Each banner ad must belong to a banner ad group. The name of the banner ad group must be entered into the bannerRotator component in Flash in order to identify the set of banners to display. | |
| Add Banner Ad Group | Select this option to create a new banner ad group. | |
| Edit Banner Ad Group | Select this option to edit an existing banner ad group. | |
| View Banner Ad Group | Select this option to view the details of a specific banner ad group and to see the banners that are associated with that group. | |
| Advertisers | An advertiser is the company that is placing a banner advertisement. Each advertiser may have multiple banners. | |
| Add Advertiser | Select this option to create a new advertiser. If the advertiser does not already exist in the system, the advertiser must be created before the banner ad. | |
| Edit Advertiser | Select this option to edit an existing advertiser. | |
| Banner Ads | A banner ad is the actual banner advert that is displayed. This is where you will upload the image and set the properties for the advert. | |
| Add Banner Ad | Select this option to add a new banner advert. You must first add an advertiser before you can set up their banner ad. | |
| Edit Banner Ad | Select this option to edit the properties of an existing banner ad or to upload a new image. | |
| Stats | This option allows you to view the banner ad statistics. | |
| View Stats | Select this option to view the banner ad statistics. | |
| Log out | Select this option once you are ready to log out of the system. It's always safest to log out. This will return you to the login page. |
