Database Installation

We have prepared a script that will automatically insert the necessary tables into your MySQL database. You must ensure that you have completed the server installation as explained here.

Open your browser and enter the URL of the file called installdb.php which is located in the banner_admin folder on your webserver.

For example:

http://www.yourdomain.com/banner_admin/installdb.php

You will then be asked whether to proceed with the database installation.

Follow the instructions to proceed with the database table installation.

Note: After receiving a message that the database tables have been created successfully, the installdb.php file should be deleted from the banner_admin folder on the webserver. It is a security risk to leave this file on the webserver.
