Basic Tutorial

1. Prepare a 360 degree panoramic image or a flash file (swf).

Note: Flash Player 7 and below only supports non-progressive jpeg images. Check to ensure that you have saved the image in this format if you are publishing your movie for this version of the Flash Player.

2. After installing the component you should find the 360PanViewerPRO component in your components panel (ctrl+F7).

3. Drag the component into the stage and resize the component using the Transform tool to the desired size. If you make the component larger than the image width, the component will automatically use the image width as display width.

4. Click on the 360PanViewerPRO that you have on the stage and enter the name of the pan image in the pan image property in the Component Inspector. If the Component Inspector is not open, you can open this by selecting Window > Component Inspector from the menu in Flash (or by pressing Alt+F7).

5. Set any of the additional parameters in the Component Inspector. For an explanation of the parameters please see the Component Inspector section.

6. For smoother panning, it is recommend to set the frame rate of your movie to 30 fps or higher.

7. Save your .fla and test your movie.
