The entire look of the flvPlayer player can be changed to suit your needs. This also makes it possible to remove options or buttons that you do not want to display. Additional individual skinnable controls are also included.
Control panel hide on mouse out
The control panel can be set to appear at all times or to only appear on mouse over. There is also a time delay setting for the amount of time that the contrl panel should remain visible on the mouse out.
Zoom and pan controls
The user can zoom in and out of the movies as well as pan while zooming. The pan speed is adjustable.
Resize options to automatically resize the video to fill the stage
Viewers can resize the video to fill the stage by simply clicking on an optional button.
Option to play video at its original size, screen size at original ratio, or fill the player screen
Choose whether to fit the video to fill the player screen size, fit the video to fill the maximum screen size while maintaining its original ratio, or display the video at its original size. A toggle button is also available for visitors to change this on their own.
Automatically progressively downloads based on Internet connection speed
The flvPlayerPRO automatically detects the viewer's Internet connection speed in order to progessively download the video as it plays.
Stream FLV videos from streaming servers (flvPlayerPRO-Stream only)
The flvPlayerPRO-Stream can stream FLV videos that are hosted on a streaming server that supports Flash streaming video (servers using the RTMP protocol). Streaming and non-streaming videos can be combined in the same playlist.
Loading progress bar
A loading progress bar indicates the amount of the FLV movie that has loaded.
Auto play
Choose to have the player start playing the first movie as soon as the player loads.
Counter to display running time, total time, FPS and size
An optional counter displays the running time and total time of the movie as
well as the FPS and file size.
Fixed or draggable screen
Choose whether to allow the user to drag the player screen around the stage or to keep the player at a fixed position.
Choice of positions for the control panel in relation to the screen
The control panel can be set to appear in relation to the player: above, below, top inside, bottom inside, left, right and center as well as the distance from the edge of the player. Using custom buttons, you can create your own control panel which can be positioned wherever you please.

All of the settings and functions are fully controllable through ActionScript. There are also ActionScript events.

Playlist, repeat, shuffle and auto play options fed through XML or Component Inspector
Define the FLV playlist directly in the Component Inspector (without any coding) or using an external XML file. The XML option allows you to update the playlist without having to edit and republish the .fla. You can also specify the server and application name for streaming FLV movies (this feature is available in the flvPlayerPRO-Stream component only).
Shuffle
Playlist can be set to play the FLV movies in a random order.
Player properties can be set using XML
The player's properties for repeat, shuffle and auto play as well as the distance between the items in the playlist can all be set either in the Component Inspector or using an external XML file. The XML option allows you to change these properties without having to edit and republish the .fla.
Displays optional thumbnails in the playlist for each FLV movie
You may choose to display a thumbnail next to each movie name in the playlist.
Built-in mouse scrolling option
The items in the playlist can either be scrolled by moving your mouse over the playlist items or you may use the ultimateScroller (not included with purchase).
Displays titles and descriptions for each FLV movie
Create textfield on the stage for the titles and descriptions and define the titles and descritions either in your Flash file or in the external XML file.
