With the dndList component you can, for example, create a list of your contacts and attach their properties (type, name, e-mail, etc...) to the list elements. When a user drags the elements onto a form, any of the properties can be copied to the form. If it's is a form for sending e-mail, you would probably copy the e-mail address into the recipient text field. The list elements can work as buttons, drag'n'drop items or both. This component contains 18 documented ActionScript methods.

Get more detailed data from a list item
Drag items from the list into an area to display more specific details about this item. For example, dragging a person's name from the list onto a predefined area can display the person's full contact details.

Choice of drag/click options
Choose to drag items only, move/copy items by simply clicking on them or allow for both of these options.

Custom icons and symbols
Specify custom drag symbols and icons for each item or type of items in the list. You can also specify a default element and drag icons.

Set callback functions
Specify your own click callback and drop callback functions.

Create a custom look and feel
Set the scroll speed, top/bottom bar visibility, top/bottom bar heights, element height and element padding. Fonts, up/down colors and sizes and gradients can be set to suit your look.

ActionScript control
All items are added to the list and are fully controlled through ActionScript. Items can also be dynamically removed from the list.
